Open doors and drawers, reach the shower controls and check the storage. Walk through the room as you would use it, recording any adjustment that needs attention.
Review fittings together
Ask the installer to demonstrate taps, shower controls, ventilation and isolation points. Discuss drainage performance and any manufacturer instructions for the first days of use.
Gather the room information
Keep product models, care instructions, relevant certificates and the written agreement in one place. Know who handles a product fault and who handles workmanship questions.
Agree any follow-up
Write down outstanding items with a clear next step. Follow the actual manufacturer’s cleaning instructions and allow sealants or finishes their specified curing time.
