Who we are and what this covers

GPS Map Camera: Photo Ledger is provided by MATRIXBREACH INNOVATIONS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U85500AS2024OPC026708). For product support or privacy questions, contact connect@matrixbreach.com.

This notice describes the current Android and iOS development builds, version 0.7.2 (build 21), the Matrixbreach product pages and voluntary correspondence. The app is in development; this notice does not announce a public store release. App storage, map/address requests, visits to this website and sending email are different activities.

Your local photo ledger

Photos, untouched originals, stamped image derivatives, location/address context, project names, notes, tags, favourites, annotations, preferences, generated reports and video files are handled locally in the app. They support capture, organisation, processing and exports. Some map snapshots or place results can also be cached locally.

Basic use does not require an account. There is no Matrixbreach-operated photo cloud or automatic team sync in this build. Local handling does not mean that no data can leave the device: maps, system geocoding, sharing, device backups and email can involve other providers. Local storage is not described here as encrypted or end-to-end encrypted.

Permissions and your choices

  • Camera: taking photos and recording video. The camera opens on startup when permission and camera availability allow it.
  • Foreground location: optional precise or approximate location for stamps and context. Background-location permission is not requested. You can decline location and still capture photos without a location claim.
  • Microphone: optional audio when video voice is enabled. Silent video does not need microphone audio.
  • Selected images: system pickers/photo-library access allow you to choose imports. The app does not ask for contacts or SMS access.
  • Gallery/Photos saving: saving stamped copies and, when selected, original copies outside the private ledger. iOS uses add-only access where applicable.
  • Motion/sensors: optional camera-level guidance uses supported device sensors and platform permissions where required.

Change permissions in device settings. Declining a permission can disable the related feature without making unrelated features mandatory. On supported Android devices, a location-accuracy resolution prompt comes from the operating system/Google Play services. You decide whether to enable the suggested setting.

Maps and address lookup

MapLibre renders the app’s street maps. OpenFreeMap supplies map services using OpenMapTiles/OpenStreetMap data. Map requests can disclose the viewed map area and ordinary connection information, including an IP address, to providers. They are not represented as anonymous requests. Satellite imagery is not configured.

When app GPS/location is on, coordinates may be sent to the phone’s system geocoding service to estimate an address or place. The service can use the network and differs by operating system/provider. Turning off GPS/location use in the app stops its location-based address lookups. You can choose not to include location information.

Maps and addresses can be unavailable or wrong. Photo saving can continue without a map or address. Some results/snapshots may be cached locally. Provider policies govern their own processing; see map providers and credits.

Sharing, public copies and sensitive information

Export and sharing use destinations you explicitly choose through the operating system. Recipients, mail apps, cloud drives and other destination services then handle the files under their own policies. There is no automatic upload of your photo library to Matrixbreach.

Photos, originals, stamped images, reports, videos and backups can reveal locations, timestamps, notes, faces, documents or other sensitive details. Original files may contain embedded location metadata. Removing metadata does not erase information already visible in image pixels.

The supported redacted captured-photo export creates a separate copy. Imported images may already show private location or other sensitive information; automatic redaction cannot guarantee they are safe. Review every file before sharing. Public gallery/Photos copies are separate from the app’s private ledger. Location & Accuracy explains what stamps can and cannot establish.

Videos, backups and recovery

Video recordings and processed video files are stored locally. Microphone audio is optional. You choose whether to share or save a video to the system gallery. Video location and time are fixed at the start of recording; the app does not continuously record route telemetry.

Videos are currently excluded from photo-ledger backups. Export important videos separately. Exported photo-ledger backups contain sensitive photos and context: store them privately and share only intentionally. A checksum can help detect file changes; it is not encryption.

Device/OS backup services may independently include app data according to platform settings. Uninstalling is not a promise that all OS or cloud backups disappear. Background work may resume when the app is reopened; the operating system can suspend or terminate processing. Recovery is not guaranteed. See Data, Backups & Deletion.

Advertising, analytics and purchases

No ads in the current build. No advertising SDK, live ad service or app analytics SDK is enabled. Reserved banner space in a development layout does not serve advertisements.

Real Pro purchases, payment processing and store-backed purchase restoration are not configured or available in this build. A Pro/settings screen is not an active sale. The “No Ads” wording in the current photo footer describes the current build, not a paid entitlement or a promise about all future versions.

Bundled translations

Nineteen interface language choices are bundled with the app. No user photo, address or note is submitted for translation at runtime. Some interface translations are automatic drafts and can be imperfect; switch language if a label is unclear. The app retains applicable Google Translate attribution for these development-generated interface translations; see translation credits.

Information you choose to email

Emailing connect@matrixbreach.com provides your sender address, message, supplied context and attachments you choose to include. We use correspondence to respond, investigate reported issues and handle privacy requests. Email providers process delivery and mailbox storage. Sending email is separate from local capture.

Send only what is relevant. Do not routinely send full photo libraries, exact coordinates, private originals or unredacted backups. Redact optional screenshots and never send passwords, one-time codes or payment-card information. Support emails are not promised to remain exclusively on your device or in India.

Retention, deletion and privacy rights

Local records remain until you remove them or use the available app/device storage controls. Processing caches, private records, gallery copies, exported PDFs, backups, shared files and platform backups have different locations and removal controls. The deletion guide explains them.

Support correspondence is kept as needed to answer the request, investigate related issues, maintain relevant records and meet applicable legal recordkeeping requirements. No fixed retention or deletion period is promised. Provider backups and lawful retention obligations can affect removal.

Depending on applicable law and the activity, you may have access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability or consent-withdrawal rights, and a right to complain to a competent authority. Contact connect@matrixbreach.com with enough context to identify the request. Identity/authority checks should be proportionate; do not send identity documents by default. Matrixbreach cannot remotely access or erase a ledger held only on your device.

Purposes, legal grounds and recipients

App-local processing provides the features you select. Permissions control access to device capabilities; map/address requests provide the context you enable. Support correspondence answers your requests, and website delivery/security information helps provide and protect the site. Relevant records may be needed to meet legal duties or handle a dispute.

Where law requires a legal basis, the basis depends on the activity and applicable law, such as providing a requested service, legal obligations or a permitted interest in reliable and secure operation. Optional processing requiring consent needs that consent; reading this notice is not blanket consent to unrelated processing.

Information can be handled by the relevant map/system providers, selected sharing destinations, hosting/email services and authorised people handling support. Necessary disclosures may be made where law requires or permits them. No advertiser or active payment provider is introduced by this build.

Visiting matrixbreach.com

The website is separate from the app. Matrixbreach uses Hostinger hosting and delivery/security services. Requests and access checks can involve IP addresses, requested URLs, browser request headers, request times and technical logs. A hosting security service may set a verification cookie.

Shared pages load DM Sans and IBM Plex Mono from Google Fonts, which receives connection details for those requests. The website theme control stores a preference under matrixbreach-theme in browser local storage. Other company sections can save optional calculator or example preferences.

The company contact form uses FormSubmit. These product pages use email links, without a new submission backend, analytics or advertising script. This is not a claim that the whole site, hosting or mail providers process no information. Read the company website Privacy Policy for wider website handling.

Security, international processing and younger users

Device storage controls and careful sharing help protect your records, but no storage or transmission method is perfectly secure. Review the access and backup settings of services you choose. No security certification or encryption guarantee is made here.

Maps, platform services, hosting and email may process information outside your country. No single-country storage region or unverified transfer arrangement is promised. Ask us about the processing relevant to your request.

No store age rating, child audience declaration, age gate or parental-consent system is asserted for this development app. Parents or guardians concerned about information sent to us can contact connect@matrixbreach.com. Avoid unnecessary information about a child in correspondence. Use the app consistently with applicable local requirements.

Changes and contact

We will revise this notice when relevant practices change and provide additional notice or safeguards where required. New services are not treated as already present. The last-updated date identifies this text; it is not a public app release date.
